Treasure Trove Tuesday Week 1

treasuretrovetuesday-week1

The one thing I love about the internet is finding weird and wonderful things.  Whether it’s kitsch homeware or cute things for Roo I love stumbling across things on hidden gems of websites that I would never have unearthed.  Today’s Treasure Trove Tuesday finds I discovered whilst writing some tweets for the week for some good friends of mine whose social media I manage.  We always try to find cute and eclectic things to share on their timeline that are kids related and this often unearths some hidden gems.

Vevian children's shoes

This week I have fallen in love with the most beautiful children’s shoes from a company called Vevian.  I found their website whilst looking for new twitter people to follow today and was blown away by these shoes as they are intricately made, stylish and a real treat for little feet.

I’d have another baby just to buy shoes from them they are that gorgeous and they are all handmade here in London.  If you fancy a real splurge treat for the little one in your life then pay their website a visit and for little girls this is the perfect way to start a love of shoes early on!

Next up is a really cool website called Brit Chic.  Brit Chic’s website is full of eclectic and eye catching children’s toys, gifts and clothing and their range of soft toys and comforters are truly to die for.  The one’s that caught my eye were these bright Zelephants made from Indian inspired textiles they would brighten up any nursery or pram and bring a smile to a little face.

Not only is it a great price and available in a couple of different designs I am sure this would chase away any fears of monsters under the bed.

Last up on Treasure Trove Tuesday is the decadent website Little Blue Zebra.  If you love prints and pictures for decorating your nursery and injecting a bit of personality and colour then this site has some amazing pictures to choose from.  With a range of animal, letter, number and alphabet style prints you will quickly fall in love with several of them. prints for baby nursery

My favourite are the letter prints and I love Letter U for urchin as it is so cute and the typography used is brilliantly offset against the spiky urchin.

Treasure Trove Tuesday will be happening every week here on the blog and on twitter using #TreasureTroveTuesday – if you want to get your business featured then simply get in touch via the blog.
