On our recent trip to Florida we spent a lot of time at Downtown Disney and in particular in the fantastic LEGO store they had. Here kids and adults could come and play with the LEGO for free and interact with all the new ranges. One range in particular that caught our eye was the LEGO Super Heroes toys and sets as these were something pretty different to previous LEGO sets.
Roo took an instant liking to these and was fascinated by Daddy E telling her all about the different LEGO Super Heroes, how Batman became Batman, who his arch enemies were learning that various super heroes like Captain America had their own super hero cars and motorbikes.
So it was no surprise that she wanted some to bring home. We simply didn’t have the room though because she’d already been bought other LEGO bits and so we had to promise to get some when we got home. Thankfully now with her birthday approaching she is still really keen on LEGO and the LEGO Super Heroes sets. We were talking in the bathroom this morning and I said if you could pick three LEGO toys for your birthday what would you have.
She gave me that thoughtful thinking look she does, tapping her head with her finger in a Winnie The Pooh “think think think” style and said, ‘Super heroes, monsters and dinosaurs, oh yes and my Barbie phone.’
So a quick Google this morning revealed that Tesco currently have some deals on the LEGO Super Heroes toys and playsets. I particularly like Captain America’s Avenging Cycle set which she could build with Daddy E and also LEGO Super Hero Catwoman Catcycle City chase because the figures look good fun with this and something we can create a role play with.
I’ve reserved a set of each to pick up at our local store later in the week and no doubt Daddy E will want to look over them before I wrap them up as he loves LEGO just as much as Roo does!
We bought this set when we went to Lego land discovery centre as the little one is obsessed with Captain america. It’s a great set x
