It’s weird, Roo has always been a confident sociable toddler.  Since she was 6 months old she’s gone to childminders and then nursery and then a pre-school group and has been used to being around other adults, away from us and making new friends.  However, since we took her away from nursery and I became her primary carer things have shifted and it seems she is suffering from some form of separation anxiety. My first day as a stay at home mum

Well today was the start of a new journey for me.  This was my first full day as an official stay at home mum.  For some mums this may not seem like big or challenging news in the parenting stakes but for me it’s been a huge decision and one that I wasn’t sure I would actually be very good at. Deferring your chosen preschool

After much stressing and fussing and arranging of childcare to fit around my new job as a teaching assistant, Daddy E and I decided last week to defer on the pre-school nursery place the local Catholic school that we had been offered for Roo. Why? Because this would have meant putting Roo into three different types of childcare to make sure she was able to attend the school for her 3 hours a day at the pre-school and it just seemed absolutely crazy that as a working parent I needed to rely on three different types of care providers. Toddler Bullying

This morning in our house something strange happened and it really upset me to the point I sought solice in my fellow mummy bloggers and actually sat in the car on my way to the job centre and cried as I felt so uncontrollably upset for Roo.
