Tonight I’ve just booked a little holiday to the Norfolk coast to a beautiful cottage called ‘Sherbert Cottage’. I had spent a few days looking for somewhere near the coast and had toyed with going back to Wales again but felt like heading to the other side of the UK and exploring the flat marshlands and beaches of Norfolk. For dog friendly holidays Norfolk Hideaways had a fantastic selection to choose from and I love the decor of this house – just look at the gorgeous kitchen and master bedroom!
If there is one item of clothing that curses me to find the perfect fit of it has to be a pair of jeans. I have one pair in my wardrobe which I adore but these are now too big for me and despite scouring the high-street and the internet I am yet to find the ultimate pair of jeans. My quest though may be about to come to an end with the release of the new ultimate women’s denim collection from Levi.
Levi is a trusted and well known brand for denim…it is my Levin Demi Curve jeans that I bought in Santa Monica two years ago that are my most favourite pair and which despite being too big I refuse to throw out. They’re like a pair of slippers…always comfortable and practical for all the stuff us mum’s have to do between work and play.
Jeans. I love jeans. I own too many pairs to count and in a variety of different styles. From skinny, to high waisted, to bootcut and straight leg. I have every day pairs for mucking about with Addy in and my favourite pair which is my Levi Curve ID that I bought in California and are like a second skin.
Finding jeans that are worthy enough of making it into my wardrobe is hard though as so many of the cheaper pairs don’t fit well either on the waist or are too long in the leg (the problem of being 5ft 4 and curvy). Good fitting denim is expensive and as much as I would love to invest in a pair of MIH jeans the reality of spending £200+ on one item of clothing is just not realistic or practical.
I love jeans. I live in my Levi Curve jeans that I bought last year in California – in fact I wish I had bought more of them at the price they were. I love the fact that jeans can be dressed up or can be ultra casual depending on their style and fit and what you team them with. That and the fact when you’re a parent who spends the time dashing from school to work, to after school activities back to home again you need something that is practical and comfortable. Jeans tick all those boxes.
