How To Baby Proof Your Home

how to baby proof your home uk mummy bloggerI must admit when Roo first became mobile we did baby proof a little bit in terms of putting locks on some cupboards and stair gates up, but unlike some friends we didn’t go to extreme levels of covering plugs and putting stoppers in door hinges.  Maybe we should have done but to be honest we were pretty lucky with her in that whilst curious she never did herself any damage.  True to form we took her stair gate off her bedroom about a week ago now and we’ve only had one incident in her getting out of bed at nighttime and coming downstairs.  Whilst our method of parenting may not sit with everyone, there is no ignoring that there is common sense in baby proofing your home once little legs get moving and hands start being inquisitive.
