Baby Birth Announcement Cards

baby birth announcement cards - uk mummy bloggerThis week two of my closest online friends gave birth and became mummy’s again to two absolutely gorgeous baby boys; congratulations @innocentcharmer and @chelseamamma for adding to your ever growing family.  There’s something lovely about celebrating the arrival of a new baby and particularly showing the new parents that you share their joy and are happy for them.  So when I got back from Britmums Live last night I jumped on the internet and ordered some cards, because I hadn’t had time to send a congratulations card to either of them and didn’t want to miss out sending a special message.

Many new parents today choose to announce their birth in a number of ways; with social media today pictures often go first onto Facebook, Twitter or Instagram but nothing beats the traditional way of sending out a birth announcement card to tell the world about the arrival of your new addition.

One of the nicest sites for this is Little One Prints.  I first found out about Little One Prints when Miss Roo was born.  I loved their selection of birth announcement cards and the fact that I wasn’t tied into ordering too many cards as you can choose your exact quantity which is great for keeping the cost down.  They cover baby girl announcements, baby boy announcements, twins and the arrival of new siblings and each design is absolutely beautiful.

Prices start from as little as £1.39 a card and each order comes with complimentary envelopes is printed on 350gsm FSC approved silk paper which looks and feels gorgeous and comes in a matt, gloss or laminated finish.  Many of the cards are so beautiful they can be kept as keepsakes and gifts by friends and family.  Their personalisation tools are really easy for even non techie mum’s and dad’s and you can easily drag-and-drop your photos, write text, select font sizes and colours, preview your card and approve the exact look before ordering.

With payment also via PayPal for ease and a secure online ordering service most orders are dispatched promptly within 3-5 working days of ordering so you don’t have to keep the world waiting long to hear your news!
