Lotties Loves

Guest Post: Ordering Flowers Online

I ran out of ideas this year for a friend of mine who sent me an unexpected gift today.  Usually I think I’ve got everyone covered but I didn’t honestly expect anything from this person and was genuinely touched when something arrived from them.

I didn’t have time to hit the shops, and was worried about the last post so decided so order some flowers online to be delivered to her.  Usually I try to pick a small independent florist but there were none local to my friend who could deliver today or tomorrow – great to see the British retailers booming for Christmas, so I opted to use Interflora instead.

I’ve used Interflora a few times and have never had a problem with their flowers or delivery – they’ve always sent exactly what I asked for and the flowers have been beautiful (so I’ve been told).  The range of choice and different designs on the site was by far the best I saw whilst browsing the web and their winter flower bouquets were not traditional in the slightest.

Being able to order Christmas flowers right up until 11am on Christmas Eve had me reassured that my order would arrive in plenty of time (I don’t know many other online retailers offering such a late ordering date) and I opted for a vase arrangement with beautiful cinnamon sticks in together with deep green foliage and burgundy flowers as well as some gorgeous variegated holly.

The site really is extensive and they offer flowers for all occasions and all year round so if you wanted to send someone very special a totally romantic bouquet but it wasn’t Valentines Day it’s easy enough for you to click on the category Valentines Day flowers on Inteflora.co.uk and find arrangements that may just fit that extra special occasion even out of season (hint hint hubby!).

There’s also a very handy Interflora app that they’ve bought out that allows you to browse and buy flowers on the go via your iPhone 24 hours a day 7 days a week – so guys no excuse now to forget those birthdays, anniversaries or special occasions!

I truly hope that the recipient of their flowers tomorrow enjoys them, they looked stunning on the website and I wouldn’t hesitate to use Interflora again for my online flower purchases.

  1. I (well mainly my husband) swear by Interflora for flower delivery. Amazing service and if my husband orders flowers for me they always come from the same local florist and the flowers are always so very fresh and stunningly beautiful.

This Christmas I received Interflora’s Christmas bouquet which is gorgeous.
