Pretty Gifts for Teachers

I don’t mean to cause a panic but in 18 days time the kids finish school….yes really in 18 days time!  Already there is a flurry of activity as I panic buy school uniform early whilst they offers are on and sizes are in stock, and I spent far too long scouring the local shoe shops sale section yesterday looking for a bargain pair of autumn school shoes.

One really should get out more, or maybe less; who knows.

There’s also the dilemma of what to get the teachers for that all important, sentimental end of term gift.  Teachers gifts is a new thing – we certainly didn’t have them in my day (gosh that makes me sound old!).  A quick search on the internet for teachers gifts and I ended up at Gift Cookie, which is an online Aladdin’s cave of personalised gifts from notebooks to sweetie jars and tea cups, there is so much to choose from.  The team at Gift Cookie had kindly offered me the chance to choose a piece to review from there and so for Addison’s teacher I wanted to choose something a little bit different.

What caught my eye over and above all the usual thank you gifts was this beautiful personalised charm bracelet.  The colour is the same as Addison’s school colours and the fact you could personalise the charm with your own message and you get a lot of charms on the bracelet as standard it makes a really special personal gift which hopefully will be enjoyed by it’s recipient at the end of term.  Whilst it is on the pricier end of the scale for teachers gifts being priced at £24.99 but to be honest it is the teachers at Addison’s school that have been amazing at helping her settle in and adjust to all the changes so I wanted to get something extra special.

If you’re looking for something with a less personalised option then Baylis & Harding have a whole host of beautiful home and spa inspired gifts that any teacher would be happy to received.  I got sent their a gorgeous reed diffuser from their new home fragrance range, which like all Baylis & Harding gifts was beautifully packaged and looking very expensive.  With a super sleek and elegant bottle the scent of jojoba, silk and almond oil is currently filling my lounge and making it ever so relaxing after a hard day.

With gifts like these available for teachers I think I might give up my job in marketing and go back to teaching as I’d love to receive either of these at the end of term.
