Fasionable Footwear for Tiny Toes

uk mummy bloggerI think I am ever so addicted to buying shoes for Roo – mind you can a girl ever be too young to start a shoe obsession?  I was doing my usual trick this week of looking on websites, adding stuff to basket and then not checking out and buying – it’s like retail therapy but without the expense, when I stumbled over to Bank Fashion to look at kids shoes.

Last year we’d got Roo some really cool Vans from there and I was hoping to get another pair as we had bought her a skater girl dress from Stardust Kids clothing a few weeks back and they’d be the perfect accompaniment (well that was my excuse).

Although Bank Fashion deals predominantly in fashion for teenagers and party goers they do have a kids section that focuses primarily on footwear.  They carry most of the big names in leisure footwear such as Converse, Vans and little Emu booties.

There’s only 45 products to choose from which isn’t a huge selection but they do have the latest styles and colours for spring including the hugely popular pastel trend that continues to work it’s way into kids clothing – makes a change from the usual pink and blue.

The shoes that caught my eye were these houndstooth check Vans Junior Attwood shoes.  I loved the black and white check as it makes it easy to pair up with different outfits and the purple laces are a nice bit of colour to break up the pattern.  Having bought the Vans Junior shoes before I knew that they fit her feet so opted for a size 10 and although the delivery charge is £3.99 on top of the £28 for the shoes I couldn’t find the shoes cheaper in this size online anywhere.

The shoes have a vulcanised midsole for extra grip which is perfect for fun and games when out and about.
