With the festive season in full swing and parties happening all over the place there’s a brilliant Twitter party happening on Monday 10th December with the Cow & Gate team that if you’re a mum with a child under 4 you will want to get involved in. The clever people at Cow & Gate with their Growing Up Milk created the first ever ‘Potty List’ (a guide to the 36 things toddlers should have crayoned off by the time they are toilet trained) back in January, the team from the toddler nutrition website are back with a new fun challenge for you to join in with.
During the winter it’s easy for our kids not to get as much outdoor play time as we’d like, the weather often hinders this, but in reality the months from April to December are actually the key months for getting vitamin D into our bodies and this is a really beneficial vitamin for kids.
This means that as parents we need to make sure that our toddlers continue to get all their essential vitamins and nutrients, especially vitamin D through other sources. One way that you can do this, and I do this with Miss Roo is by drinking two beakers a day of a fortified milk drink such as Growing Up Milk. Roo has her first with breakfast and the last one is her bed time drink at night and I know that she is getting everything she needs from this even if we can’t get out in the winter sunshine as much as we’d like.
So why do the Growing up Milk team need your help? Well following up from their first Potty List they are now putting together a brand new Winter Potty List – and they want your help!
On Monday from 1pm to 2pm, they are inviting you to share with them YOUR #PottyList suggestions on Twitter for how to keep the kids entertained in the run up to spring when we can all get outdoors again. For example, what fun ways do you have of keeping toddlers entertained? What are your must-do activities? Where does your toddler love to go? Do you have a tip to make even the dullest of days fun?
Whatever your top tips are then you need to be tweeting them and the 15 best suggestions will win a £25 Asda gift card to help with the Christmas festivities.
Join the #PottyList Twitter Party with nutritionist and mum Leanne Olivier, who will provide expert advice on toddler nutrition, as well as providing her suggestions for the #PottyList.
