Delicious Indian SuperMeals for Babies and Toddlers

zainab

I must admit when Roo went through the whole weaning stage and into early toddler foods I stayed away from foods like Indian curries; I assumed, probably like most parents that the spices would be too much for her delicate tummy and that it would upset her digestive system.  So when mother and author Zainab Jagot Ahmed got in touch with me about her eBook Indian SuperMeals for babies and toddlers I was only to happy to help her spread the word about all the delicious Indian foods available to children. Zainab knows what she is talking about when it [...] Read more »

car-parking-rates

The clever people at Confused.com have come up with yet another great way to help us Brits save money with their new parking app.  Astronomically more than three quarters (78%) of Brits fork out up to £150 a month when paying for parking and with parking prices rising 12.5% over last year alone many of us are now being put off going out into town centres that have high parking prices. Thankfully with the free confused.com parking app shoppers across the UK can now get savvy on their mobile phones and pinpoint the cheapest car park before they head out. [...] Read more »

Grafix Mosaic Kit for Kids

grafix-art-kits

Last week Roo and I were sent a Grafix mosaic kit to try out at home.  Now craft can be a hit or miss activity with Roo depending on her mood and how complicated the activity is and when the pack arrived I was a little wary as the pieces looked quite small for her and I could see her finding it fiddly. The Grafix mosaic kit we were sent was to make a caterpillar.  On opening the box there are all the bits that you need to make the perfect picture.  Roo took great delight in opening all the [...] Read more »

Ocean Spray Juice A Refreshing 100% Juice Drink

ocean-spray

I like cranberry juice and have always found the slightly tart flavour refreshing so when we got sent some vouchers to try the new Ocean Spray juice range I was keen to run out to the shops and get some.  Unfortunately all my local stores were sold out and it took me a few weeks to get hold of any but I can honestly say it was worth the wait. We’re big juice drinkers in this house.  Roo loves fresh chilled juices from the fridge and we even have a power juicer that admittedly gets more use in the summer [...] Read more »

Star Wars the Clone Wars Season 4 on DVD and BluRay

star-wars-the-clone-wars

We’re slightly obsessive about Star Wars in this house; my home office has a shelf dedicated to Star Wars including bobble heads, Storm Trooper alarm clocks, LEGO Star Wars mini figs and a limited oil painting we bought in the US earlier this year.  So when we were contacted by Warner Bros about the release of Star Wars the Clone Wars Season 4 on DVD and BluRay I knew that this would be a review that Daddy E would thank me lots for as we already had 1 – 3 of the complete series of Star Wars the Clone Wars [...] Read more »
