Pets, kids, tiled floors – never a good combination as I seem to spend five days a week with a brush and mop and bucket in hand. I’ve lost count of the number of mop heads I’ve gone through and they all look equally filthy within just a few weeks. It doesn’t even bear thinking about the bacteria that may be left behind (no matter how well or often I clean) and it’s taken a while to get used to living without carpet in our house. Thankfully though there could be a solution on my Christmas list with the new Black and Decker steam mop.
Black and Decker have recently launched a BRAND NEW Steam Mop which kills 99.9% of all germs and bacteria*. It does this hygienically, without any chemicals so safe for children and pets as well as the environment. Ready to use in less than 15 seconds, the large easy fill 500ml water tank provides 22 to 40 minutes cleaning time and with the Auto Select it also means the Steam Mop is safe for all types of sealed flooring giving them a deep clean with each use.
With handy features such as washable microfibre pad heads and a 180° pivoting head cleaning my floors looks like it might be a doddle with this! It can manoeuvre around furniture and into tight spaces cleaning right up to the edge leaving no floor space untouched.
To see the Black and Decker Steam Mop in action, take a look at the video below:
I love the fact that it can even be used on my hardwood oak floor which has previously been difficult to clean this is thanks to some clever and fancy AutoSelect® Technology that ensures the right amount of steam is released for the floor type selected. So Daddy E if you’re reading this, then I’d be quite happy for Santa to bring one of these on Christmas Day
* The Black & Decker® steam mop will kill 99.9% of common household germs and bacteria, such as Salmonella and E.Coli, provided the floor surface is visually clean and the steam mop is used as directed in the instruction manual.—-
