Beautiful Schleich Braided Horses

Schleich Braided Horses reviewRoo loves playing with her farm animals, she got bought a selection of Schleich farm animals for Christmas and they’ve been one of her most played toys since then.  So when we were sent some of the new Schleich Braided Horses I knew she would love adding these to her farmyard and her imaginary world.

These new horses are part of the World of Nature collection and the range features 6 new horses with braided manes. These horses have been created with realistic attention to detail which is typical of all the Schleich products and I think that this is what makes them so much fun for children.  Take a look at the product details below for each of the figures.

Product details “Braided Mane horses”:

  • Braided mane and tail
  • Dynamic pose
  • Height of figurines: Stallion: 12cm; Mare: 12.5cm; Foal: 9cm

Roo loved them as soon as she saw them and begin naming each horse, and choosing which was a mummy and which was a daddy horse.  She played for nearly an hour in a make believe world where the horses were poorly and the Lego vets came to save them and bring them medicine.  The play was calm and methodical and it was absolutely lovely to watch and listen to her doing such beautiful imaginary play.

The Schleich braided horses are stunning, well made, sturdy and detailed with wonderful care and attention.  The best thing about them from a parents’ point of view is the price – as all the new braided horses are pretty much pocket money prices so perfect for treats when little ones have been super good.

We absolutely adored these horses and they are even being given their own names based on their colour and are loving their time in Roo’s farmyard.
