What woman doesn’t like flowers? Not many that I am aware of and for me personally they are the one treat every week that goes in my shopping trolley. Flowers lift your mood and can brighten a room instantly at this time of year though they can be forgotten about and more traditional arrangements such as wreaths take over.
This week though I was invited to review some of the stunning range of Christmas flowers from online floral retailer Floric. Floric pride themselves in delivering beautiful fresh cut flowers for those special occasions and their range of festive bouquets was of such a high standard that I struggled to choose what I wanted.
In the end I decided to depart from traditional red and invoke a bit of Frozen into my house this year (well why not embrace the biggest trend this Christmas) with this Jack Frost inspired bouquet in icy whites and silver. The bouquet describes itself as ‘a sparkling bouquet of whites and silver with a hint of ice blue, containing Chrysanthemums, Roses, Eucalyptus, Eryngium and glittered Gypsophila to add a little Christmas sparkle’. Priced at £29.99 this is what I would call a budget entry bouquet and if you order before 4pm you can have it delivered next day and nicely delivery is free.
The bouquet arrived well boxed and protected and the flowers had been wrapped in moisture wrap paper and came complete with flower food. The flowers were absolutely beautiful. Stunning closed white roses that had a wonderful scent. The thistles which are one of my favourite decorative flower went beautifully with the white and silver and the bouquet really did look like it had been drenched in a harsh frost.
As you can see put in my lounge they look absolutely beautiful with my cream furnishings and glass tables and a week after delivery not a single rose has drooped or fallen over, the spider chrysanthemums are still spikey and the foliage all lush and green. If you’re looking for some festive flowers for your house this Christmas then I highly suggest you check out the full range of flowers on offer at the Floric website.
Also if like me you love a real Christmas tree (you can’t beat the smell) then make sure you get the kids to enter the fabulous win a Christmas tree competition that Floric are running.
