Although the weather is slightly up and down of late, the sunshine seems to be breaking its way through and will hopefully be here to stay quite soon! Deciding upon outfit choices for kiddos can be a tough choice when the sunnier weather rears its head, especially in England where the weather can be so temperamental (rain, shine, rain, shine – please make your mind up soon!) Luckily, there are so many gorgeous companies and brands who create stunning clothing ranges for little ones – I often get severe clothes envy when I look in Addison’s amazing wardrobe! If you’re in search of some practical ideas for sunny-weather clothing or simply looking to update their current wardrobe before summer, here is just a little inspiration for both boys and girls to help you decide.
Let’s face it we all love planning holidays and dreaming of bolting away for a break and with the British weather not being able to quite make its mind up of late, summer may seem like a very long way away, but if you’re planning a little (or a long getaway) then there’s no time like the present to start making plans! When planning a holiday with little ones, there are just so many considerations to make – Will they enjoy the food? Will it be too hot for them? Is there going to be enough to entertain them for a week away? Just so many important questions! Whether you’re the stay-at-home type or fancy getting a little more sunshine in your life, here are just a few of the options I’m exploring for a family getaway in the months to come.
Last week I was really poorly and despite feeling better than I have in months my body clearly wasn’t having any of it and I broke out in horrendous shingles down my body. Whilst the discomfort was unbearable it did mean that the nights I couldn’t sleep I got to browse loads of amazing blogs, YouTube tutorials and magazine articles about new beauty products. In particular contouring palettes, concealers and spring palettes.
I don’t claim to be any kind of make up expert of rank myself up there as a beauty blogger but I know what I like and I know how I like my makeup to look. There isn’t a day that goes by without me wearing my make up, it is part of me and I feel polished and professional when I wear it and believe that there is no excuse for not having time to do your make up on a daily basis. The amount of products on the market now from good coverage BB creams to gorgeous face tanning gels you can add to your moisturiser it is really easy and quick to manage just one or two things in the morning.
It used to be that if you had larger boobs then getting sexy, pretty lingerie was a no no. I have lost track of the number of times I have seen gorgeous styles on the high street only to be thwarted that they stop at a C or a D cup. Bras for larger boobs generally have become more common place and no longer do you have to put up with wearing something that might look more at home on your 90 year old grandma as retailers wise up to the fact that girls with big boobs want to feel pretty and sexy too.
I like to think I am a good driver as I’ve got older, I love to drive actually and find it therapeutic on long journeys when it is just me and my music or a good talking book. That said this wasn’t always the case and like many young drivers today when I passed my test at 17 and got the keys to my first car (a Fiat Seicento in metallic blue with a blue tartan interior….yes really!) I thought I was the bees knees and would nip around with my mates like no tomorrow.
I thought I was invincible and untouchable but two accidents later, one involving a church in the centre of Lichfield on a Friday night and an intensive driver awareness course my car insurance began to get a little on the steep side. Looking back, and this is the truth, I honestly wasn’t a bad driver. I was confident and assured behind the wheel and not phased. The problem was the minute you put other people in the car with me I became distracted and this distraction began to make a dent in my pocket financially.
