Online Christmas Shopping

I love online shopping, and lets face it online Christmas shopping when you have kids is an absolute godsend. No dragging screaming children round packed shopping centres, no fighting for parking spaces and no panic buying just to get out the shops and get home. Each year I do more and more of my Christmas shopping online for these very reasons and this year there have been some retailers that have made my online Christmas shopping experience absolutely fantastic.

So this blog post is a big thank you to them, for excellent customer service, for products that I think are really quite cool and a bit quirky and for most importantly delivering on time when they promised they would.

ASK Italian Restaurant New Menu & Competition

I love Italian food and so does Roo. We often choose ASK restaurants if out and about as they have a good menu and the staff in our local one have always been very accommodating. So when I found out that ASK Italian restaurant chain have launched a new menu with Theo Randall, one of the UK’s most celebrated chefs I was intrigued to know more.

According to ASK’s PR team at Splendid Communications they have made over one million changes to date – from the menus to the uniforms, music and Milanese-inspired decor – this will mean that customers will experience the ‘cuore’ (heart) and ‘spirito’ (soul) of Italian food and culture from teams who are knowledgeable, genuine and passionate about making ASK Italian amazing every time.

Traditional Wooden Toys for Christmas

It’s really hard picking the right toys for Christmas, I have lost track of the amount of toys that Roo has been bought that have failed to live up to expectations, have been cheap and nasty, badly made and broken within a few weeks. Because of this I have been looking at a selection of traditional wooden toys for Christmas this year as when I was little I remember having a lot of wooden toys and even now they are still in really good condition.

There are lots of wooden toy shops online if you do a quick Google search you are inundated. However, I was lucky enough to connect with Hillary who is the brains behind Toys Naturally. Toys Naturally provide ethical, intelligent wooden toys for babies and toddlers.
